About

My name is Zack Eggleston, and the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario are where I call home from spring through fall. I’ve spent every summer I can remember on these waters, and over the years I’ve become completely obsessed with chasing giant smallmouth. My goal every day is to give my guests that same opportunity—to experience this world-class smallmouth fishery for themselves.

I pride myself on providing a fun, relaxed, and educational day on the water. Whether it’s teaching new techniques, helping you chase a new PB, breaking down unfamiliar water, or sharing what I’ve learned from fishing across the country, I’m committed to helping every angler grow, learn, and enjoy the experience. This region not only offers unmatched smallmouth fishing, but also some of the most stunning scenery you’ll find anywhere—vast shoals, crystal-clear water, countless islands, and even historic castles.

I offer spring, summer, and fall smallmouth trips aboard my Ranger 520c, powered by a Mercury 250 Pro XS and equipped with both Lowrance and Garmin electronics. Trips cover the eastern basin of Lake Ontario—Henderson Harbor, Chaumont Bay, Cape Vincent, Clayton—and continue all the way up the St. Lawrence River.

All trips use artificial lures only, and all rods, reels, and tackle are provided. A valid NYS fishing license is required for all anglers.

Zack is a fully licensed USCG Captain.
